| A Louisana Company saves $10,000 per month with Bestobell steam traps A rubber chemicals facility in Geismar, LA, is currently engaged in a Six Sigma project to reduce steam usage in its rubber Finishing Area. According to our customer's process engineer, Bestobell Delta Element steam traps helped the company reduce their monthly steam costs by $10,000. We obtained these savings by replacing the traps on two of our six finishing dryers. Operators no longer feel the need to bypass traps as reliable condensate removal allows dryer temperatures to be steadily maintained. The customer also said, "when we upgrad the remaining dryers we anticipate our steam usage will be reduced by approximately 15%".
